Description
The Herringbone Cotton Throw is the one you reach for every evening: over your knees on the sofa, folded at the end of the bed, or around your shoulders with a cup of tea. It is woven in a classic herringbone pattern in soft oatmeal and cream, with a short knotted fringe at each end, so it looks as good folded on a bench as it does thrown over the arm of a chair.
The throw is woven from 100% cotton, which keeps it soft and breathable rather than hot, and it gets softer with every wash. At 130 x 170 cm it is generous enough for one person to curl up under, or for two to share on the sofa, and it can go in the washing machine on a gentle 30 degree cycle.

Care: machine wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Do not bleach. Reshape and dry flat or line dry; do not tumble dry. Cool iron if needed, avoiding the fringe. A little shrinkage on the first wash is normal for woven cotton.

Care & Safety
Candles: trim the wick to 5 mm before every lighting, let the first burn reach the edge of the vessel (around 2 hours), burn for no longer than 3 hours at a time and stop when about 1 cm of wax remains. Never leave a burning candle or tealight unattended; keep it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire. Full safety information is on the label underneath every candle. Candle holders: use only candles of the size stated on the product page and never let a flame touch the wood. Oak and ash: wipe with a soft cloth and keep away from radiators. Stoneware and glass: hand wash only - not dishwasher safe. Throw and cushion: follow the care label - wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry. Floating shelf: use fixings suitable for your wall and do not exceed 10 kg.
